Rydkr Sno is a snow and weather service made by Rydkr. You need a Rydkr account to use it. By creating an account or signing in, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. They are written to be read; if anything is unclear, write to us.

1. Forecasts are estimates, not guarantees

Snow totals, temperatures, conditions and every other number in the app are computer estimates from weather models. They can be wrong, sometimes badly. Nothing in the app is a guarantee of conditions, lift operations, road access or safety.

2. Your safety is your responsibility

Rydkr Sno is not avalanche, mountain-safety or travel advice. Before you ski, ride or travel, check official sources: your local avalanche center (avalanche.org in the US), the resort, ski patrol, and road and weather authorities (for example the National Weather Service and your state’s 511 service). Mountains are dangerous; decide for yourself and accept the risk of your decisions.

3. Using the service

• The service is for personal, non-commercial use. Features, availability and pricing may change.
• Don’t misuse it: no scraping or bulk automated requests, no attempts to break, overload or get around its limits or security, and no reselling its data.
• We may change, pause or end features, or the service, at any time.

4. Your account

You need an account to use the service. You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email; keep access to that inbox secure. You can export or delete your account at any time from the Account page.

5. Data sources

Weather data comes from Open-Meteo (licensed under CC BY 4.0) and from NOAA / the National Weather Service, plus other public sources credited in the app’s guide. Those providers are not responsible for the app and don’t endorse it.

6. No warranty, limited liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, Rydkr is not liable for any loss or harm arising from your use of, or reliance on, the app or its forecasts. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they apply to you only as far as the law permits.

7. Changes

If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we’ll update the effective date and ask you to agree again the next time you sign in.
